A guy promised his girlfriend 20k last week as
they were chatting on BBM. She then went to
visit him in Abuja unexpectedly. She asked him
of the 20k he promised her.
He told her that he's traveling to Minna in the
next 5mins, but he gave her his GTB ATM card
that she can withdraw all she wanted till he
comes back, knowing fully well that he has less
than 5k in the account.
D guy quickly left d house bcos he knows dat she
will soon come back crying.
fortunately for him, as he was driving past Zuba,
his Elder brother called him on d phone saying
"Guy,you don get d Alert? I just dey komot from
GTB oh! I don pay that 100k wey I dey owe you 4
your account, Thanks So Much" Meeen!!! See
Sweat!!!: (Few minutes later, he got d alert
confirming 100k Credited. D guy wan die as d
money enter his account. He couldn't rest,
He tried calling his GF's phone,
but it was switched off. He tried PINGING!!!
Pinging no deliver.
D next minute, Alerts:
20k Debited,
20k Debited,
20k Debited,
20k Debited,
20k Debited.
Even d last 5k withdrawn...
He fainted & found himself on d
hospital bed.

I believe God wants all of His children to come to a point where we throw up our hands, give up every other pursuit and make Him our primary pursuit. We all need to come to the point where we acknowledge that not only where we saved by grace but we will only run our race successfully by grace....making our dependence on God absolute. There is a 'God-shaped' hole in every human beings heart and no matter how hard we chase after material things and worldly positions or accolades, none of these other things will ever fill up that hole and satisfy us. It's like how we are often thirsty but mistaken that thirst for hunger and instead of drinking water and quenching that thirst, we eat.....and that thirst is still there. Only water will quench it. Likewise, only Jesus satisfies and satisfies completely. No wonder He refers to Himself as Living Water and the Bread of Life. For Him to take over - to fill us up - we must empty ourselves of stuff and especially of 'self...
