Christianity is an invitation to die. Written by Kenny K'ore

Christianity is an invitation to die.
Assuredly, “Timeless truth I speak to you: Unless a grain of wheat falls and dies in the ground, it remains alone, but if it dies, it yields much fruit.”-John 12:2.
Jesus never once used His supernatural powers for personal comforts.
And the Apostles couldn't recognise faith without the character of faithfulness.
The character of faith,
(faithfulness) is never built in fleshly comforts.
" Son though He was, He learned obedience from what He suffered"-Hebrew 5:8.
" My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."-James 1:2-4.
A calm sea, doesn't make a sailor.
There's no testimony without trials.
No one can develop spiritual capacity  without adversary.
You can only raise perpetual and professional babies, on the financial prosperity gospel.
Paul said I have learnt to abound and to abase.
Why was he learning to abase?, is it faithlessness on his part?, or does he know something all these prosperity preachers don't know?!
Yes, we have all the resources of Heaven at our disposal, but its dependent on HIS divine Will for us per time;
Like manner that must not be kept to the following day, a believer may only have what he needs to achieve his divine purpose, and nothing more.
If he doesn't need a wife, he won't marry. If he doesn't need Billions, he won't have billions.
If she doesn't need children, she won't have children.
So, not all single, poor, and childless believers have problems.
#Nothing is a blessing to you, until you know the eternal purpose of it, and use it for what it is for.
This isn't the stuffs people have been raised on, so most people will struggle with it.
But it was the life men and women of the scriptures lived.

$40b drained from External Reserve in 10 years, says CBN

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has lamented that about $40 billion was depleted from the nation’s external reserves in 10 years due to the taste for imported goods by Nigerians. To stop bleeding  the external reserve, the CBN has urged Nigerians to begin to process raw materials so as to get more value and earn more foreign exchange. According to the CBN governor Mr Godwin Emefiele, “exported raw materials such as crude, wood, cocoa amongst others whose end products are later imported, are being sold cheaply and bought back at more expensive rates.” He said the level of the external reserve will be significantly beefed up if fuel which takes up 20 per cent of Nigeria’s import bill is locally produced. Defending the decision of the CBN to support the real sector, Emefiele said the apex bank “is convinced that the sector has sufficient employment capabilities, high growth potentials, contributes significantly in accretion to foreign reserves, expands the industrial base and divers

BE BLESSED BY THE STORY BEHIND HYMN Higher Ground

Higher Ground Lyrics I’m pressing on the upward way, New heights I’m gaining every day; Still praying as I’m onward bound, “Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.” Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven’s tableland, A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. My heart has no desire to stay Where doubts arise and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where those abound, My prayer, my aim, is higher ground. Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven’s tableland, A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. I want to live above the world, Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled; For faith has caught the joyful sound, The song of saints on higher ground. Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven’s tableland, A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. I want to scale the utmost height And catch a gleam of glory bright; But sti
